We are a private practice optometry group consisting of 3 doctors in Garden City, KS. Our office has been in practice for over 100 years.

Garden City Optometrists is a full scope optometry practice that was started in 1916 by Dr. William Howard. It has been continuous since then, with a history of fourteen doctors between 1916 and now. Our mission has been to provide you and your family with the best eye care and that commitment is still carried on today.

Winter is coming… and so is dry, irritated eyes! ❄️

As the temperatures drop, cold winds and dry indoor air can take a toll on your eyes, leaving them itchy, watery, or uncomfortable. But don’t worry - there are simple ways to keep your eyes healthy and comfortable this season:
💧 Use artificial tears or lubricating eye drops to keep your eyes hydrated.
🏠 Consider running a humidifier indoors to add moisture to dry air.
🕶️ Wear sunglasses outdoors to protect your eyes from cold wind and harmful UV rays.
💻 Follow the 20-20-20 rule when using screens: every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds.
Your eyes work hard every day - give them the care they deserve. If dry eye symptoms persist, it’s always a good idea to schedule a check-up with us. 👁️✨
