Coffee ☕️ Outing! Feeling so lucky and blessed 🌟 to spend time with some of the coolest people around! I absolutely love hearing about how these young men grew up, the adventures they had, and the amazing things they’ve done throughout their lives. Every story reminds me just how special this community is- and how much wisdom, humor, and heart fill each day here 💖

Card making is always a treat, especially because we have our amazing volunteer (and friend) Sharon with us! She brings all the supplies- and all the smiles!! And she dedicates this special activity to her mom’s memory 💖. We’re so grateful for her creativity, generosity, and the love she shares with our residents every time she visits 💐💖🌟

Who says exercise is just for the body? Today we exercised our minds with a fun game called ‘Animals’, created by our friend (and one of the longest residents at Avista) Don! It was so much fun guessing, laughing, and learning how to play it together. Activities like this aren’t just entertaining - they help keep our minds sharp and our spirits connected. Staying mentally active and socially engaged is one of the best ways to support healthy aging 💚💛

Took our residents out for a drive to soak in Boise’s beautiful fall colors 🍁🍂🍃And what a perfect day it was! As the leaves drifted outside, and the air was crisp, the sound of everyone chit chatting and laughing in the bus made my heart so full 💖
