I’m excited to share that I’ll be offering Postpartum Care for All Day on November 26, 2025!

We all know how important touch is for humans but even more importantly for new moms, I offered this day last year, and it was such a beautiful and successful experience that I wanted to bring it back.

Here’s what it includes:

If you are or know someone who is between day 1 and day 40 postpartum, and you are going through financial hardship you qualify, NO explanation needed. You’re invited to receive a complimentary 45-minute postpartum massage. All I ask in return is that you share a review about your experience on Google.

And that’s a wrap on day two of an intensive 16-hour Postpartum Doula training! I’ve gained so much valuable knowledge about the postpartum period and how to better support families during this critical transition. The postpartum journey can be overwhelming, especially without the right support system in place. A mother’s emotional and physical state during pregnancy directly influences her baby’s brain development. When a pregnant woman experiences stress, her body releases cortisol, a stress hormone. This hormone travels through the placenta and umbilical cord to the baby, impacting the child’s nervous system and brain development, particularly the formation of mental circuits.

Prioritizing prenatal care, including massage therapy throughout each trimester, is essential for managing stress. Regular massage not only helps lower stress levels but also enhances body awareness, allowing mothers to address areas of tension and discomfort, ultimately supporting a healthier pregnancy.

Postpartum care should be accessible to every new mom. Unfortunately, that’s not always the case. After speaking with many postpartum moms, I’ve realized that as a community, we could do more to support them during this time.

For November and December, I’ll be offering complimentary postpartum massages to any new mom in need.

Oxytocin levels remain high, and you are still in the birth realm, in sacred time. Ask those caring for you to focus on your immediate survival needs by offering food, comfort, warmth, and love. You may be feeling like you need closure after a rapid or traumatic birth, but please be aware it will most likely be too soon for you to process this. You are still very open at this time, so to get closer to closure, openly receive loving touch, gentle rebozo closing, sobadas (massages) nourishing warm food, and yummy herbal teas🍃🌿
