Increased thirst in cats isn’t something to ignore.

Drinking more water can be a sign of serious underlying conditions like kidney disease, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, or infection. If you’re noticing frequent trips to the water bowl (or litter box), it’s worth getting checked.

V**e pens, cartridges, and e-liquids contain ni****ne, and even small amounts can be toxic to pets.

Signs of ni****ne poisoning can include vomiting, drooling, tremors, seizures, rapid heart rate, or collapse. This is not a “wait and see” situation.

If your pet chews on or ingests a va**ng device, seek emergency care immediately.

From Feb 6 through Feb 28, stop by either of our locations anytime and ask the front desk for a free Valentine’s toy for your dog or cat and treat them to a little extra love!

We also hope this gives you a chance to see our hospital and know where to find us before an emergency ever happens. When something urgent comes up, knowing where to go can make all the difference.

✨ Six-Month Splenectomy Success Story ✨

Meet Dibbs, one of our doctor’s very own pups and a true OCEPC success story. ❤️
Six months ago, Dibbs came to Orange County Emergency Pet Clinic for an emergency splenectomy. Fast forward to today, and he’s back to doing what he does best: enjoying walks, cuddling on the couch, and living his happiest corgi life.

Seeing our patients thrive after critical care is why we do what we do. Dibbs, we’re so proud of you and grateful to have been part of your journey. 🐶✨
