Tri Star EMS is seeking Garden or Nahma township residents interested in taking an MFR, EMT, class in Manistique. Lead instructors will be Ed Unger, Roger Irie, and Mark Russell. There is an application process. Class starts the first part of September, with MFR ending in roughly around Thanksgiving, the Basic around the first of the year, and specialist in spring of 2018. For more information call 341-1880 or email eunger@scmh.org. Applications must be returned by August 1, 2017. Or get a hold of Lori Sundling or Margaret Richard.

Congratulations Pat Bingham on a well deserved pick for Grand Marshall! This beautiful lady put in a lot of hours serving this community on the board with me and on many ambulance calls running Tri-Star EMS, Inc. Love ya Pat! Congrats, even though you won't see this. Lol.
