Xavier worked and fought hard during the initial part of his recovery journey. He always had a positive attitude and tremendous family support. He worked his way into many peoples hearts. It was a bittersweet moment to watch him leave, but we were glad to see him move on to the next phase of his journey! With the love and support of his family, we have no doubt he will be successful in achieving all his goals!

After months of incredible strength and perseverance, Martin is leaving our care. He has remained positive and determined throughout his journey, and we couldn’t be prouder of how far he’s come. The best part, he will now be closer to his seven amazing children, who always know how to bring a smile to his face. Their love and laughter will be the best medicine as he continues his journey. We’re so happy for Martin and wish him continued success in this next chapter. His resilience and positive spirit have truly inspired our entire team.

An anonymous donation was made when word got around about a team member making shelft stable meal kits for any family who was in need. Due to that generous donation, 90 MEALS….again that’s 90 meals…are going out into the community!! If anyone needs a meal please contact Katie Northup at 913-856-8747.

Kenny graduated from Meadowbrook’s Brain Injury Program!! Kenny brought so much light, laughter, and joy to everyone around him. He was a true jokester who could always put a smile on your face. He had an incredible love for music and dancing—always the first one to get the party started and the last one to stop. 💃🕺

Kenny had a way of keeping everyone laughing, moving, and feeling connected. His great taste in music and his lively spirit made him the life of the party here at Meadowbrook. He will be deeply missed by friends, staff, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

We are so proud of all his hard work, progress, and resilience. Kenny, your next chapter is just beginning and we can’t wait to see the joy and laughter you’ll continue to spread wherever you go.

Congratulations, Kenny!!! We’ll miss you! 🎉

Missy is such a kind, sweet, and loving soul to everyone she meets. She touched so many hearts here, and it was clear how loved she was by the many friends who came to support her graduation. We are so proud of her strength and the progress she’s made. Saying goodbye was emotional, but we know she’s leaving us with brighter days ahead. ♥️

We had a great time networking with many great providers and advocates at the Brain Injury of Missouri’s 21st Annual Statewide Conference. Enjoyed learning about new treatment approaches, ways to better support families of survivors, and community resources for our Missouri based brain injury survivors.
