Unpopular things I do as a chiropractor — and why they matter.
❤️ I build my practice on people, not volume.
I don’t believe better care comes from seeing more bodies per hour. Slowing down allows me to be present, notice patterns, and support the nervous system instead of rushing through it. When patients don’t feel hurried, their bodies respond differently.
❤️I don’t adjust all patients the same.
No two nervous systems are alike. Age, stress history, injuries, pregnancy, and emotional load all matter. Care should be responsive to the person in front of me — not a routine applied to everyone.
❤️I offer longer visits with truly individualized care.
Healing doesn’t happen on a stopwatch. Longer visits create space for assessment, education, regulation, and integration. This helps patients understand their bodies and feel involved in their care, not passive recipients.
❤️I use more than just adjustments.
Adjustments are powerful, but they aren’t the only tool. Soft tissue work, laser therapy, and dry needling allow me to meet the body where it is and support change from multiple angles — especially when the nervous system is guarded.
❤️ We make care more accessible through discounted memberships.
Consistent care matters, and it shouldn’t be reserved for a few. Membership options help reduce financial barriers so patients can get the support they need without waiting until things are unbearable.
This approach benefits my patients — and it benefits my practice.
It builds trust, creates better outcomes, and allows me to care for people in a way that feels aligned and sustainable.
It may not be the loudest way to practice chiropractic.
But it’s the one We stand behind.
