Thank You to all the HWC Residents, Families, Volunteers, Friends and Staff who donated during our recent Drive! Yesterday, HWC Resident Council President Rita and Exec. Director Tom delivered food and toiletries along with a monetary donation from Resident Council to the Gardner CAC, a wonderful organization that goes above and beyond to serve Gardner community.

Yesterday, we had two activities happening at the same time! One group of HWC Residents were busy baking homemade Almond Cookies while Gordon ran another how-to class on playing Pinochle.

February brings plenty of great programs for HWC Residents to enjoy inside during the cold month of February. We're looking forward to the continuation of the Senior Citizen's Police Academy thanks to our friends at the Gardner Police Department!

Yesterday, a group of HWC Residents met with Jayati from Homewatch CareGivers for another installment of "What's Your Story." Later, Resident Forrest entertained us with a keyboard performance. Thank You Jayati and Forrest!

HWC was transformed into a tropical paradise during today's Beach Party. What a great week to escape the bitter cold and enjoy beach-y music, games, yummy treats, friends and family!

Yesterday, HWC Residents met with Jayati from Homewatch Caregivers for the first of 4 "What's Your Story" sessions. This is an exercise for residents to hone their writing skills and have a written story that they can share with loved ones, friends, or just keep for themselves. Thank You to Jayati for taking the time to work with us on this project!

HWC Residents have been busy this last week of 2025! On Monday, they painted winter scenes with guidance from our fabulous Volunteer Kris. Yesterday, Gordon led a Pinochle for Beginners group.
