Plenty to catch up on this week with HWC Residents: after Resident Council, Forrest entertained us with a keyboard performance on his Birthday; Volunteer & Friend Ellen gave a presentation on Chinese New Year sharing about her experience living in Singapore and playing her gong; and another meeting of the Pinochle Club!

HWC Residents had a lot of fun at today's Mardi Gras Social Hour! Many were in disguise with their festive masks! Congrats to Fred for finding the "baby" in the King Cake!

Happy Valentine's Day! HWC Residents felt the love at our annual Valentine's Party with an energetic H***y Tonk piano performance by Gary Landgren. Besides the great music and company of one another, we enjoyed delicious treats prepared by the HWC Culinary Department. We hope you all have a very Happy Valentine's Day ❤️

Thank You to the Templeton Senior Community Center - TSCC and the Templeton Friends SOS group for inviting HWC to be a part of their Valentine's Tea! It was a beautiful event with great company, great music and of course great tea and refreshments!

HWC Residents have had a fun start to the week. Volunteer Rhonda led a fun and festive Valentine's Cookie decorating party earlier this week. And, Dan Kirouac Music helped us celebrate all of our January Birthday's today with great music!

Thank You to the Gardner Senior Center for inviting HWC's Assistant E.D. Kristy to call names at this morning's Bread & Pastry Raffle! This is a great weekly event at the Gardner Senior Center and it was nice to see everyone leaving with something delicious!

Thank You to all the HWC Residents, Families, Volunteers, Friends and Staff who donated during our recent Drive! Yesterday, HWC Resident Council President Rita and Exec. Director Tom delivered food and toiletries along with a monetary donation from Resident Council to the Gardner CAC, a wonderful organization that goes above and beyond to serve Gardner community.

Yesterday, we had two activities happening at the same time! One group of HWC Residents were busy baking homemade Almond Cookies while Gordon ran another how-to class on playing Pinochle.

February brings plenty of great programs for HWC Residents to enjoy inside during the cold month of February. We're looking forward to the continuation of the Senior Citizen's Police Academy thanks to our friends at the Gardner Police Department!
