Many of us lead such busy lives and wonder why we do not feel our best, or how we use to feel or why we feel frazzled all the time. We are always trying to find the answer, the "one" answer that will fix us.
I am here to remind you it is not about needing to "fix" yourself, you are you and you need to learn to appreciate yourself first.
I will never forget what my neurologist told me as my diagnosis. And the resolution to "how" I was feeling were 7 simple steps.
Sleep Enough
Walk Daily
Sunlight in the AM Daily
Eat Whole Foods Only
Breathe 4-7-8
Sweat Daily
Hydrate Daily
And honestly I was not relieved. Shocking right?
Whenever I question to find the answer, I go back to the 7 steps he provided. Have I actually been true to those tips? If not, I put them into practice and find myself feeling a bit better after a couple weeks.
He was not trying to sell any surgeries, tests, case studies etc.
To be honest I appreciate him the most from that one follow-up appointment back in 2013. He inspired me to dig deeper, and the digging deep ending up being SIMPLE. Go figure!
So for those of you who want easy and free tips to do FIRST before making many traditional doctors appointments, give these tips a good solid 30 days. What's 30 days in real time? Hardly nothing. It takes about 3-6 months to get a doctors appointment these days anyway. No joke.
So get outside, take in the natural Vitamin D from sunlight, set your feet on the ground, walk and eat foods you can only find in the earth and proteins without additives. Oh - And REST to digest!
