We’re so grateful for our incredible 2026 committed Round Up partners who continue to support local healthcare in Carson Valley year after year. Your commitment makes a real difference in the health of our community.

Now that we’re officially in 2026, we’re looking to add additional business partners to join this growing movement!

Round Up for Healthcare is simple and impactful:
When your customers round up their purchases to the nearest dollar, those small cents turn into BIG support for local healthcare services in our community.

Here’s how it works:
✔️ Choose your month
✔️ Invite customers to round up
✔️ Donate the total at month’s end
✔️ We handle the marketing and promotion

We’ll feature your business as a Partner in Health & Wellness and provide social media graphics, email features, in-store materials, and digital promotion to spotlight your impact.

As we close out this year, we’re reflecting on the ways we can make health care easier and more accessible for our community.

In this video, Patty Smith, Director of Diagnostic Services, and Sean Driscoll, RT(R)(CT)(ARRT), Imaging Supervisor, share how the Together for Tomorrow Campaign is supporting the future Women’s Diagnostic Center at Carson Valley Health. This new center will allow women to receive the care they need efficiently and close to home—all in one convenient location.

Your support helps:
▪ Make essential women’s diagnostic services more accessible
▪ Streamline care so women can get the tests and support they need in one place
▪ Ensure timely, high-quality care right here in the Carson Valley

As we wrap up the year, your support can make a lasting impact—helping women in our community access health, early detection, and peace of mind.

This week, the Carson Valley Health Foundation, in partnership with the MEFIYI Foundation, had the pleasure of welcoming JAG Program students from Douglas High School and Aspire High School for an inside look at our hospital.

These students are our future workforce, and we love the opportunity to introduce them to the wide range of careers in healthcare while connecting them with many of our incredible leaders who shared their own journeys and experiences. Moments like these help spark curiosity, build confidence, and show students what’s possible right here in our community.

Supporting future healthcare professionals doesn’t stop with tours. Each year, the Carson Valley Health Foundation proudly offers scholarships for Douglas County residents pursuing careers in healthcare. The Journey Begins for high school seniors and The Journey Continues for those already working toward their degrees.

📅 Be sure to keep an eye out—scholarship applications open this January, with decisions made in April.

As we wrap up the year, we wish our students, partners, and community a very happy holiday season. Thank you for helping us invest in the future of healthcare!

Each day at Carson Valley Health, stories of compassion unfold — a worried spouse finding reassurance, a neighbor recovering close to home, an aging loved one surrounded by caregivers who know them by name.

Through the Together for Tomorrow campaign, the Carson Valley Health Foundation is ensuring that exceptional care continues to thrive right here in our valley. Your support helps provide life-changing equipment, healing spaces, and programs that uphold dignity and comfort for those who need it most.

This Giving Tuesday, your gift can help a neighbor regain strength, or a family stay close during treatment.

When you donate, you’re doing more than supporting a hospital — you’re caring for your community. You’re giving hope, comfort, and a healthier tomorrow for all of us.

Please visit www.carsonvalleyhealth.org/tomorrow, to make your Giving Tuesday gift. Together, we’re building a legacy of care.

As we enter the holiday season, it’s important to remember that this time of year can be both joyful and challenging for many in our community.

In this video, Erin Dudley, LMSW and Behavioral Health Manager, shares why a future inpatient behavioral health unit is so critical for the Carson Valley. Too often, individuals experiencing a mental health crisis must be transported far from home, away from loved ones during moments when connection matters most.

Through the Together for Tomorrow Campaign, we are working to ensure that compassionate, local support is available when our neighbors need it most.

Your support helps:

▪ Increase access to behavioral health services close to home

▪ Keep individuals in crisis connected to family and support systems

▪ Reduce stigma and build a stronger, more understanding community

This holiday season, you can give a gift that truly makes a difference — hope, support, and a healthier future for the Carson Valley.

It’s never too late to say thank you — especially when it comes to celebrating the incredible partners who lift up our mission.

Back in September, Sierra Chef partnered with us for our Round Up for Healthcare campaign and helped raise over $500 to support local health and wellness right here at home.

As we finish up November, our gratitude remains just as strong. Thank you, Cynthia and the entire Sierra Chef team, for your generosity, community spirit, and commitment to making a difference. And thank you to everyone who rounded up — every dollar truly helps us continue caring for our Carson Valley neighbors.

The Carson Valley Health Foundation was honored to accept Douglas County’s Movember proclamation today. Raising awareness for men’s health is vital, and this recognition supports our ongoing efforts through the Together for Tomorrow campaign, which includes raising funds for a new Cancer Care Center. We are grateful to the Board of County Commissioners for helping shine a light on this important issue.

Today, the Board of County Commissioners issued Proclamation 2025P-098, declaring November 2025 as Movember – Men’s Health Awareness Month in Douglas County.

This proclamation recognizes the importance of raising awareness about men’s health issues, including prostate and testicular cancers, as well as men’s mental health. We thank the Carson Valley Health Foundation for its efforts in supporting men’s health initiatives!

Please join us in recognizing Movember – Men’s Health Awareness Month and in supporting ongoing efforts to improve men’s health and well-being throughout our community.
