🎉 A very special Happy Birthday to Gary Peterson!

Yesterday was a truly memorable day for Gary, as he was honored with a Citizen Appreciation Award for his outstanding contributions to the Carson Valley community. To make the celebration even more unforgettable, Gary had the chance to take to the skies once again in his hot air balloon—this time surrounded by his loving family. 🎈

Gary and his beautiful wife, Dottie, have shared 67 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they’ve built an incredible family, including their two sons, Derick and Russell, six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Gary dedicated 25 years of service as a firefighter in Los Angeles before retiring to Carson Valley in 1982, where he has continued to make a lasting impact on our community.

Happy Birthday, Gary, and thank you for your lifetime of service, dedication, and inspiration! ❤️

We had such a wonderful time at our Family Appreciation Dinner here at Salterra at Carson Valley! 💛 It was a beautiful evening filled with great food, laughter, and special moments shared with the families who mean so much to our residents and community.

Our chefs prepared a delicious menu featuring pistachio-crusted salmon with lemon dill sauce or herb-roasted chicken quarters, served alongside garlic mashed potatoes and green bean almondine, and finished with a sweet vanilla custard fruit tart for dessert. 🍋🐟🍗🍰
