Today, we honor a giant whose voice helped shape the conscience of a nation. Rev. Jesse L. Jackson was more than a civil rights leader — he was a bridge between generations, a champion for the unheard, and a living reminder that faith, courage, and persistence can move mountains.

Through his work alongside Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and through the founding of the Rainbow PUSH Coalition, Rev. Jackson dedicated his life to expanding opportunity, dignity, and justice for all people. His voice spoke truth to power, his faith carried hope to the weary, and his presence reminded us that progress is possible when we refuse to accept injustice.
