Reclined Pigeon Pose - Supta Kapotasana - The Yoga CollectiveReclining Pigeon Pose (Supta Kapotasana), or Figure-Four Pose, is a supine, restorative yoga pose designed to deeply open the hips, glutes, and piriformis while relieving lower back tension. It is performed by lying on the back, crossing one ankle over the opposite thigh, and pulling the legs toward the chest, making it an excellent, accessible alternative to traditional, seated pigeon pose.
