Bryan-Lee Funeral Home began in 1976 with a group of interested Garner residents. Twenty-two residents, including Steve Bryan and Alex Lee, put together a corporation which was eventually named Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Inc. Bryan-Lee opened on January 29, 1977 and began serving families within 24 hours. Bryan's shares of the business. Bryan-Lee Funeral Home is now solely owned by Mary and Alex Lee. Bryan-Lee operates with a staff of eight full time employees and all other employees work on a part-time basis. In addition to being a complete funeral establishment, Bryan-Lee sets its own prices, opens and closes its own graves, and has its own monument operation. Bryan-Lee is also proud to be the only family owned and operated funeral home in the Raleigh, Garner, and Angier area. Bryan-Lee is a member of the North Carolina Funeral Directors Association, The National Funeral Directors Association, The Order of the Golden Rule and the Selected Independent Funeral Homes. Bryan-Lee is one of only seven homes in North Carolina to hold membership in both the Order of Golden Rule and Selected Independent Funeral Homes.
