Root and Branch Nutrition Functional nutrition for moms and moms-to-be. Specializing in hormone health, fertility, pregnancy It's time for you to feel, look, and be your best self.

Creating long-lasting, vibrant health requires that we view the body holistically- not as having separate, independent parts, but as being one complex, interconnected system. Instead of covering up symptoms, we must pinpoint their true causes... instead of pruning undesirable branches, we must dig down to the roots. The human body has an innate capacity to be healthy- it simply needs the right tools. Therefore, I utilize nutrition to support your unique needs in order to create health and vitality, not treat sickness. Through in-depth evaluation and tailored nutrition, together we create a personalized plan that works best for your body, lifestyle, and goals.

Is it "mom life" or is it your minerals?

Motherhood is SO demanding (duh).

But that also includes of minerals... and energy...

And the stress we go through becoming and being moms all directly impacts our metabolisms, nervous systems, hormones, cognitive function, and more.

✨ Which is one of the biggest reasons why mineral testing with HTMA makes so much sense for moms who want to feel better, get out of survival mode, and regain their spark again. ✨

But no, it's not "just" a mineral test. It's so much more.

It's a window into what's going on in your body, uncovering clues that other labs easily miss. (Swipe for some of the areas I geek out on when I read these test reports!)

🤔 Curious what's happening with your minerals (and therefore, all of this good stuff, too)?

HTMA is foundational to the work I do with my clients, so it's where we always begin in 1:1 plans.

All you've gotta do is submit an application to start the conversation about what working together could look like for you and how I can help.

📍Over on Threads yapping and raging away...

(And tbh, doing way too much scrolling because it's hard to not get sucked into the sheer insanity of what's happening.)

Swipe for just some of my fave stream of consciousness shares there lately.

And friends, serious question: what kind of content are we looking for me to share here?

Because the world is burning, and it feels weird and wrong to operate as if it isn't...

But at the same time, I know my work is important and the info + support I provide to moms is valuable (especially now!), so I'm just trying to find the right balance.

Comment with any suggestions, topics you want me to cover, etc. + I'll pick a few to treat to a coffee on me!

K that's all for now, love you byeeee! 😊

LIFE LATELY: HOLIDAY FUN (/CHAOS) EDITION

Fellow moms— ARE WE OKAY? 🙃🫠😵‍💫

Because whewwwww. This month has been a LOT.

And I am TIRED.

Happy, joyful, grateful… and tired.

It’s been magical… and also messy and at times, downright stressful. I feel like I’m *finally* taking a deep breath! 😮‍💨

Here’s an HONEST recap of what we’ve *actually* been up to here:

🎄 Enjoying lots of holiday celebrations (and feeling so relieved we’ve been able to after a rocky few weeks of flu + sickness ALL around)

☕️ Eating more carbs and sugar and drinking more caffeine and wine (and feeling ZERO guilt around it but also craving a vegetable and looking forward to getting back to routines soon)

❤️ Soaking up a whole lotta time together as a family… inside (mostly because I forgot to order the kids snow gear in time) + enjoying how much the boys enjoy one another

😫 Begging Oliver to stop climbing EVERYTHING. My nervous system is in fight or flight a lot in this stage and I do not love it.  We’ve got ourselves a wild child for sure.

📱Taking a true break from work and lowkey loving not knowing what day it is, but also scrolling way too much so need to change that ASAP

📖 Grabbing any opportunity for me time and micro self care (a long, hot shower… reading during naptime… a short walk/workout… a trip to buy new books!)

🔮 Reflecting on the roller coaster that was 2025 + planning and dreaming for 2026 (and debating if I want to formally recap or set intentions or choose a word or any other ritual I normally love but feel limited capacity for)

🧺 Accepting the toy mess but also decluttering and chipping away at purging and organizing at home (I feel a SURGE of inspiration to upgrade some things and refresh my wardrobe so gonna run with it)

❄️ Leaning into winter/ “wintering” as much as possible without losing my sh*t. Slowing down is hard for me but so important, so here I am making it work imperfectly.

Truly, how are you? 👀 I’m planning some exciting things for next year + gonna be making a few big changes, so let me know what you need/how I can help you whether now or once all the holiday craziness has passed.

Are we blaming the holidays or entire winter season as a way to dismiss or ignore what’s *really* happening?

If you’re feeling worse this time of year, it’s not a coincidence. It’s a really busy time for most of us and we’re juggling a lot.

But chances are, your symptoms didn’t *just* pop up. All the extra stress and seasonal shifts have a unique way of exposing dysfunction, imbalances, and deficiencies that have been simmering under the surface all year…

And honestly, usually much longer than that.

This season simply hits harder when your body is already running on empty and struggling to keep up.

No shame… just something worth noticing and if it resonates, exploring.

You’re not failing. Your body just might need support.

And if you’re ready to finally address the root causes of your symptoms so you don’t need to “just get by” anymore in 2026, please know you don’t need another quick fix or extreme reset or “New Year, New You” overhaul!

You need a functional and holistic approach that honors motherhood, helps you rebuild your foundation, and increases your resilience so you can feel better for real, and for the long haul.

If that’s you, I’m now booking limited January and February 1:1 spots and you can secure yours now with just a $125 deposit. 👋🏼

(And your monthly payments, depending on your plan, won’t start for another 6 weeks.)

Is it too much to ask for?! 🎁🤞🏼

Sending love to all the moms making magic, ordering gifts, baking cookies, remembering to move the elf, having holiday movie nights, keeping up with school spirit week, and also suctioning boogers, tracking Motrin, calling doctors, snuggling sick kids, cleaning over and over, and stressing about coughs at 3am. 🎅🏼😥

You probably want to leave the afternoon crashes, constant irritability, brain fog, PMS and painful periods, bloating, and crappy sleep in 2025.

You want to ditch that uncomfortable feeling of always running on fumes.

You don’t want to always feel so scattered and frazzled and one inconvenience away from a total meltdown.

You want to stop just getting by—only going through the motions—and start showing up fully and enjoying your life.

Let’s do it together.

Because I also want you to look back to the end of *last* year and remember how you felt then.

Has anything *really* changed? 🤔

Or are you dealing with the same symptoms, starting to wonder if this is just “how it is” now?

Are you still stretching yourself too thin, putting everyone else ahead of yourself, and trying to ignore signs from your body that it needs help?

Are you still trying to piece your healing together with random tips from wellness girlies?

Are you still white knuckling your way through your days, hoping things will magically change one day?

Call me corny, but it’s true... 2026 can be different. It can be the one where you heal once and for all. Where you reclaim your health and get your spark back. Where you feel at home in your body... like YOU again.

✨ Comment or DM me “2026 support” if you want more details on how you can grab a 1:1 spot for January or February *now* with just a $125 deposit to lock in personalized root-cause support, clarity, and direction for next year.

Somewhere along the way, moms got assigned the *sole* role of holiday magic makers.

And it’s not only that we’re expected to be the ones who hold the whole season together…

It’s HOW we’re expected to do that. It’s HOW MUCH we’re expected to do.

📸 Facilitate and capture the memories (*and* post them, but only the perfect ones!)

🍿 Set up extravagant holiday movie nights (But no, not those. ONLY ones from *this* list.)

🎨 Fill the calendar with exciting activities (Need an idea? Scroll and you will get 5,000.)

🎁 Make sure every gift is bought and wrapped (But not with store-bought paper, silly you!)

🎄Coordinate all the holiday decor, matching family outfits, and visits to see Santa.

Even if it means we don’t get to enjoy any of it.

It’s not fun, and it’s not realistic.

It’s giving “who gives a F*CK about moms?”

WELLLLL… I do. WE do.

No wonder moms are so exhausted come January. Because how does *ANYONE* also take proper care of themselves with this kind of pressure and never-ending to-do list?

(It’s also no wonder how we’re all so easily targeted with “new year, new you” BS and vulnerable to toxic diet and fitness messaging… but that’s a story for another day).

My kids don’t need a burnt-out version of me to have an enjoyable holiday.

And this isn’t a dig at dads (namely those sharing the load).

It’s just to say that we don’t have to continue the cycle of over-performing and curating everything to keep up with a twisted facade of what “good moms” do in December.”

We can choose to do things differently, and insert our health and happiness into the equation, too.

So if you’re giving yourself permission to keep things simpler, be okay with imperfection, and skip the stuff that drains your joy, you’re in good company over here.

⬇️ Tell me: what’s one way you’re lightening your holiday load and allowing things to be easier this season?

2025 proved to me (yet again) that being a good mom doesn’t require perfection for me or my family to thrive, and that wellness in motherhood is non-negotiable but CAN’T be all or nothing.

Because if I’m being honest, this year was a rollercoaster.

So much was way harder than I expected it to be, including figuring out my new rhythms as a mom of two and how my business needed to be structured to best support that + protect my mental peace.

Here are some of the things that truly did help me through and most importantly, supported my health and happiness and ability to do all the things I do in all my roles.

(And of course, my amazing kids but like, that goes without saying, right? Seeing my oldest continue to grow and mature and thrive especially in school and sports, and watching my youngest’s personality unfold and getting to witness all the milestones of his first year are highlights of mine for sure).

(I know December isn’t over *yet*, but I’m on a sappy reflective, almost-luteal kick before I get into 2026 planning mode so here we are.)

What helped you through this year? And what are you calling in more of/wanting to differently for next?

BEFORE YOU SAY “AH, SCREW IT”...

I promise, the holidays CAN be different.

I don’t care what anyone says about moms needing to self-sacrifice and just accept feeling terrible as long as their kids are happy.

You CAN feel good. Even through the holiday shopping, hosting and attending celebrations, chasing toddlers through not-child-proofed homes, trying to time naps and feedings around events, and of course, all the magic-making (/more mental load + unpaid labor) moms do.  🙃

And it really doesn’t need to be complicated or restrictive.

👉🏼 Swipe for my best tips—mom to mom—to keep you feeling good through the chaos and avoid burning yourself out at the expense of making it magical and memorable for everyone else.

Ultimately, it comes down to knowing yourself, understanding what’s realistic, getting your priorities in order, and being extra intentional about where you focus your energy and attention.

(Sorry, but I choose a healthy, happy ME during the holidays over daily extravagant Elf placements, fighting for the perfect photo with Santa, crafts and traditions for the sake of checking them off a list, or spending hours and $$$ finding matching pajamas in everyone’s sizes.)

Come on, imagine actually feeling energized, present, and steady through December… and even into the new year.

Imagine waking up in January and *not* feeling pressured to cut carbs, water fast, or go on a greens-only diet.

Imagine feeling grounded at the start of 2026, knowing you have a plan instead of getting swept up in the “New Year, New You” vortex or winging it another year.

Use these tips to help you cruise through the rest of 2025, and then, let’s do the deeper work once the holiday dust settles.

Because I know it can be tough to begin something new this month, but that doesn’t mean you can’t set things in motion now.

(Plus, I’m taking my own advice and blocking my calendar for the rest of 2025!)

✨ Through 12/31, just a $125 deposit holds your 1:1 spot for a Jan or Feb start (+ your next payment isn’t due for 6 more weeks).

I’m sorry, but I cannot take away your stress...

But I *can* help you handle it way better.

Look, motherhood is sTreSsFuL. It’s demanding, and naturally about giving.

But we can’t let all that get to the point where we are literally EMPTY.

Because that’s when everything feels harder.

That’s when we get stuck.

Replenishing your mineral stores truly does create more ease. It helps you energize your whole body.

It helps you handle stress better and simply, have more capacity—for the hard stuff yes, but also all the good stuff, too!

I have a few spots left for The Root before doors close tomorrow!

📊 Inside, you’ll get an HTMA (hair mineral test!) + a personalized food and supplement protocol + 1:1 support via chat and a call with me. End 2025 by saying yes to yourself, and start the new year with a new spark instead of post-holiday burnout.
