So sad you never know what a person is going through.
At just 25 years old, NFL receiver Rondale Moore has lost his life. Authorities in New Albany, Indiana, confirmed he was found Saturday and said he took his own life. The investigation is ongoing.
Moore first captured attention at Purdue in 2018 as a freshman All-American. The Arizona Cardinals selected him in the second round of the 2021 draft. He totaled 1,201 receiving yards and three touchdowns over three seasons, along with rushing yards and return duties.
But injuries repeatedly sidelined him. A knee injury with the Atlanta Falcons in 2024 cost him a season. The following year with the Minnesota Vikings, he tore his other knee during a preseason game. In that moment, realizing the seriousness of the injury, he showed visible frustration as he was helped off the field.
Teams and former teammates expressed heartbreak, remembering him as disciplined, respectful, and full of promise.
