Kathryn (Shepherd) Belinger was born on August 26, 1953, in Buffalo, NY. She served in the Army for more than three years during the Cold War. She separated from service at the rank of E-3. Richard Hingher was born on April 27, 1943, and served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He is married to his wife, Alana, and has two children. He has been a resident at Absolut Care of Gasport for nine years. We’re thankful for his valiant service.

Ray Ferchen was born on April 19, 1941, in North Tonawanda, NY. He served in the Army for two years just before the Vietnam War from 1963 to 1965, and also in the Reserves. He separated from service at the rank of Specialist 4. As a civilian, he worked as a tool grinder. He has been a resident at Orchard Brooke Assisted Living Center in Orchard Park for one month. We’re thankful for Ray’s service to our country.

Ralph Karnitz was born on July 11, 1925, in Buffalo, NY. He served in the Coast Guard for four years as a Merchant in the Vietnam War from 1968 to 1972. He separated from service at the rank of E-1. As a civilian, he worked as a truck driver. He resides at Orchard Brooke Assisted Living Center in Orchard Park. We’re thankful for Ralph’s service to our country.

Richard Anger was born on August 19, 1927, in Buffalo, NY. He served in the Navy for three years during the Philippines Campaign during World War II. He separated from service in 1947 at the rank of Petty Officer 3rd Class and was awarded four medals. As a civilian, he owned a fencing company with his brother. Richard has one daughter. He has been a resident at Orchard Brooke Assisted Living Center in Orchard Park for two months. We’re thankful for Richard’s service to our country.
