💡 Did You Know?

Some kids actually need to move more to focus better — and it’s not because they’re being “hyper” or “disobedient.” 🧠💪

Movement helps activate the vestibular system, the part of the brain responsible for balance, body awareness, and attention. When kids jump, spin, or run, their brains get the sensory input they need to stay alert and organized — kind of like “charging their battery” before learning! ⚡️

That’s why occupational therapists often include movement breaks, wiggle seats, or wall push-ups during play or classroom time. It’s not a distraction — it’s therapy in motion. 🏃✨
