Everyone here at Akers Pharmacy will be keeping an eye on the score between filling prescriptions and answering the phone today!

We’re proud to cheer on the Hunter Huss High School Huskies as they compete for the State Basketball Championship. Our whole community is behind you, and we know you’ll represent Gaston County well.

Be careful out there. Garrison Blvd is icy. A vehicle was just stuck out in front of the pharmacy spinning their wheels and going nowhere!

Due to icy road conditions we will have a delayed opening on Monday, February 2nd. We will open at 11am. For the safety of our driver we will not have delivery service. If conditions change we will update this post. Please be careful on the roads.

Weather/Opening Update! We will be open from 1pm until 4pm today! There will be no delivery service today. Side roads are still bad in some places so only come out if you need to.

Hope everyone is staying safe and warm during the ice storm! Due to lingering icy roads we will either be closed on Monday or have late opening/shortened hours. We will update this post when we make a final decision. Stay safe!

Looks like winter weather is on the way. We plan to be open normal hours Saturday from 9am-1pm. Monday might be another story as it looks like the ice will linger with cold temps. Try to get your medicine today or tomorrow if you need it before Tuesday just in case we have to close on Monday. We will announce on Facebook if we are closing or have different hours. Be safe and stay warm!

It's pecan time!! They were delivered today, freshly harvested and ready for holiday baking and gift giving! Get yours before they're gone! ALL proceeds support the Altrusa Shoe Project and many local non-profits!
