🎉Happy National Doctor's Day🎉
National Doctor’s Day is celebrated annually on March 30th in the United States to honor physicians' commitment, dedication, and contributions to patient care and community health. Today, we honor our Medical Director, Dr. Vanessa Crerar, DO, CMD.
Dr. Crerar, who is better known as Dr. C, is a board-certified family practitioner and geriatrician. She believes that health care for older adults is a growing area of need and a growing number of older adults need a little extra assistance in the home. Dr. C chose the PACE model, because she can allow people to continue to live at home for longer with the extra assistance needed to maintain autonomy. She enjoys that PACE has an interdisciplinary model to best serve older adults in a wholistic way. Not only this, but she can spend the time needed to provide the best care possible for her participants.
Happy National Doctors' Day Dr. C! Thank you for your dedication to your participants.

Our Therapy Department recently launched a No‑Fall Incentive Program, and it’s already making a big impact! 👏 Each month, participants who remain fall‑free have their name entered into a drawing—up to five entries per person for the month. At the end of the month, one name is selected to win a gift basket, generously assembled by a department that signs up to participate.

The January gift basket was created by our Therapy Department, and our first winner was absolutely overjoyed to receive her goodies! 🎁

According to Heather Lester, Lead Therapist, the program has contributed to a noticeable decrease in overall falls as well as a reduction in participants experiencing multiple falls over the past four months.

We’re proud to celebrate safety, teamwork, and success—one month at a time!
