April is OT month, and we're excited to highlight the people behind the care here at Beacon Therapies!

First up, meet Julie Fowler, COTAL, the COTA at our Traverse City location.

Julie graduated from Macomb Community College with her associate’s degree in 2013. She brings over 12 years of experience in home care, along with a background in acute care and skilled nursing settings.

Julie is also a certified Senior Personal Trainer and Wellness Coach, allowing her to take a well-rounded, holistic approach to helping individuals improve their strength, independence, and overall well-being.

Her diverse experience and passion for wellness make her an incredible asset to our team and the patients we serve.

They’ve put so much creativity and effort into preparing for today and it shows. Come take a look in person, support their work, and show them some love!! 💙

Another sweet day of productivity here at the Beacon Center! 😋

Our participants whipped up delicious brownies, painted colorful creations, drew from their imaginations, and played games that kept the laughs coming. With creativity and chocolate in the air, the joy of trying something new is always in motion! 🎨🍫🎲

Did you know our participants can receive massage therapy right here in our Waters and Traverse City offices?

We’re grateful to have a licensed massage therapist come on site to provide services, making it easier and more accessible for our participants to experience the benefits of relaxation, pain relief, and overall well being.

It’s just one of the many ways we strive to support the whole person, mind and body. 🌱

This 3D printed Easter Basket (full of goodies) is being raffled off soon.….. Single tickets are $1 (donation) or 7 tickets for $5 (donation). I will be doing a live drawing on Friday April 3rd and will meet the winner on April 4th Saturday morning so you have it for Easter. It is full of 3d prints and epoxy resin items along with store bought items and of course candy ! Located in Ga***rd!

We're seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide assessment and treatment services. Experience working with traumatic brain injury a plus.
