Super proud of our boxers and our program. These men and women are tough, fighting back against Parkinson’s and showing up every day, even when it feels impossible to do so. All the while maintaining a sense of humor, supporting each other, and making a difference for each other. So glad the spotlight is on this inspiring group. Thankful to Dan Folts and for sharing their story. I hope it gives those diagnosed with PD hope and makes them aware of options to fight back against Parkinson’s, as well as understand there is support both locally ( ) and nationally ( , , ) It’s an awful disease, but there is support. And here at rock steady boxing Conesus lake/ kingfisher physical therapy, we move forward TOGETHER. Link to article in comments- check it out!

Nazareth University, in partnership with RPN, is hosting a Parkinson’s Symptom Screening and Health Fair on Friday May 1st from 1-4pm. This event is an opportunity to engage with students and faculty from PT, OT, Speech Pathology, Art Therapy, Music Therapy, Social Work, and Nursing to discuss and screen symptoms, try out activities, and receive educational materials related to Parkinson’s Disease.

3D Run DNA assessments for … enjoyed working with these kids and getting them started on some drills to improve their runs. Looking forward to watching them this race season! Thanks for coming in!
