We are looking to add a Certified Pharmacy Technician to our team!
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) to join our independent community pharmacy. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a small, collaborative team. We have a great group in place and are looking for our next staff member. This position would average around 30 hours/week. We have paid holidays, PTO, and a 401k with match. Key Responsibilities:
Assist the pharmacist in preparing, filling, and labeling prescriptions accurately
Package medications in blister cards for long-term care and compliance patients
Process insurance claims, resolve rejections, and communicate with prescribers as needed
Provide excellent customer service, including answering phones and assisting patients at the counter
Maintain medication inventory, place orders, and manage outdates
Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
Support daily workflow to maintain an efficient and friendly pharmacy environment
Qualifications:
Active CPhT certification (PTCB or NHA) required
Previous retail or independent pharmacy experience preferred
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and work independently with attention to detail
Proficiency with PioneerRx pharmacy management software a bonus
