It's perfectly okay if your baby doesn't conform to the "norms" set by influencers and "experts." You are your baby's expert!

Why Feed play sleep routines make no sense for a breastfed baby - Just to clarify, I don't think it makes sense for ANY baby, bottle or breastfed to be on

You can’t “get your body back” after having a baby.

It never left.

Your body innately knew how to grow and birth another human being - eyes, ears, lungs, limbs, smiles, dreams, a personality. It didn't have to think. It didn't need a blueprint. It just knew.

It's unfathomably incredible. To suggest that a postpartum body is anything other than extraordinary is sacrilege.

Some people refer to a body after baby as “ruined” - it’s softer, wider, striped where the skin stretched to accommodate new life. But your body is, in fact, the complete opposite of ruined. It’s far BETTER than before.

After it housed and nourished your precious child, how could you possibly think otherwise?

Of course your body will be different. You aren't the same person you were before your baby was born - your body has changed, too. Every part of you has grown & expanded as you’ve learned what it means to be a mother & fierce protector. You’ve actually leveled up.

Society expects mothers to look and act as if they’ve never had children, just as it teaches us (even before puberty) that our weight determines our value. Don’t fall into that trap.

You are so much more than what you look like, and the marks your children left on your body are something to celebrate, not hate.

Have you felt pressure to “get your body back” after baby?
