We had a wonderful time, eating delicious food, and enjoying the ambiance at the Spartan Terrace Restaurant. This restaurant is run by students in the culinary program at Elgin Community College. Our very own, Courtney, who works in our dining dept, is a student. We gave positive feedback to the instructors overseeing the students, as it was fantastic!

We began our day to Woodstock, IL with lunch at Squire on the Square in the old courthouse, followed by an interesting tour of the historic opera house where countless famous actors have graced the stage. We strolled around the picturesque town square and viewed the famous mural depicting Groundhog Day, which was filmed in Woodstock, among other notables who hailed from the area. It is such a charming town, we plan to return soon!
