Dear Friend,

Can you say "Groundhog Day"? Do you have a favorite movie? “This is a very interesting situation”. A quote from “It’s a Wonderful Life” …one of my all-time favorite movies. A movie that has made me laugh and cry. In these very emotional times with the shelter-in-place directives, my heart goes out to all of those that have suffered with illness or loss of employment! My GRATITUDE for those continuing to work – especially those medical professionals in the front lines! Our “New Normal” evolves daily, we continue to HOPE and PRAY for healing for everyone.
Our office (listed as an essential business) has guidelines to maintain open, and are listed at the CDC - web site (cdc.gov/coronavirus). The talking points are as follows:
Rules to recognize:
- If you have symptoms of fever /cough /shortness of breath… stay home, and consult your medical provider, and recent loss of taste or smell.
-shake hands by touching elbows
-avoid touching our eyes, nose, and mouth
-When in public - wear a face mask or cloth to cover your face, (Although most already do, on May 1st , patients will need to wear a mask, as we are closer than 6 feet in treatment, J)
-clean and disinfect frequently all touched surfaces
-washing your hands regularly for 20 seconds or more
I have OPEN office hours for those patients that are in need. We have set up guidelines in our office to keep patients safe.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all those impacted by the Coronavirus.

Governor Pritzker has ordered all Illinois residents to stay home until, April 8th, with exceptions for essential business. I will still be open serving patients, with some limitations, I will be working with less staff, and spreading out visits so less patients will interact, and I have time to disinfect rooms between visits. The Illinois Chiropractic Society has suggested for patient’s to postpone visits if they are going in for maintenance care, or are very close to having achieved maximum medical improvement.

Thank you for the privilege of serving the Fox Valley for nearly 22 years.
