Finger Lakes Health is a not-for-profit health system that provides a full range of acute and long-term care health services to residents of the Finger Lakes region in Upstate New York. Finger Lakes Health is comprised of Geneva General Hospital, Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, The Homestead at Soldiers & Sailors, Huntington Living Center and the Living Centers at Geneva – North and South. Services are provided on three campuses located in Geneva, NY (Ontario County), Waterloo, NY (Seneca County) and Penn Yan, NY (Yates County). The 660-bed health system is governed by a common Board of Directors and is served by a common management team. With 85 active staff physicians, the health system offers a broad range of primary, specialty and sub-specialty services to residents of the Finger Lakes region. No one will be denied access to services due to inability to pay. Discounts for essential services at our outpatient clinics are offered based on family size and income.

Finger Lakes Health is seeking an experienced RN Long Term Care Educator / CNA Training Instructor to lead our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program at Living Center South in Geneva, NY.

This full-time, Monday–Friday, daytime role is a great opportunity for a passionate RN who enjoys teaching, mentoring, and shaping the next generation of long-term care professionals. You’ll provide classroom and clinical instruction, ensure compliance with NYS training requirements, and support CNA students as they begin their healthcare careers.

Free Pre-Dialysis Education Class on Thursday, January 22 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Geneva General Hospital Dialysis Center. This is for patients with kidney disease and a support person.

The class is designed to acquaint patients with kidney disease, treatment options, diet and adjusting to life with kidney disease.
