Being told your imaging is normal when you are still in pain is one of the most frustrating experiences in healthcare.

You did everything right. You got the scan. You waited for the results. And then someone told you everything looks fine.

Here is what most providers do not explain: normal imaging and abnormal mechanics happen together all the time. Diagnostic imaging is built to find tissue damage. It was never designed to show compensation patterns, subluxations, or how your spine distributes load under the demands of your actual life.

The body compensates silently for a long time before pain becomes consistent. By the time you scan it, the compensation is already well established. The scan looks normal because pathology was never the issue.
