I see you there, carrying that weight in your chest. That constant hum of worry that never quite goes quiet. The way your shoulders hold tension like armor, protecting you from a world that feels too much, too fast, too overwhelming.

Your body has been working so hard to keep you safe. But sometimes, that protective system gets stuck in "on" mode.

Think of your nervous system like two close friends living in your body. One friend (your sympathetic system) is always scanning for danger, ready to fight or run. The other friend (your parasympathetic system) wants to rest, digest, and heal. When anxiety and depression take over, that first friend never gets to take a break.
