Genoa Medical Facilities is a community owned non-profit, multi-facility organization comprised of Genoa Hospital, Genoa Long Term Care and Genoa Assisted Living. Genoa Medical Facilities is an ever evolving facility providing progressive quality healthcare to Nance County and the surrounding areas. Park Street Medical Clinic and Genoa Community Hospital will not deny access to services due to inability to pay. A Sliding fee schedule is available based on family size and income.

Jami Kampschneider has been a nurse for the past 40 Years and has been with Genoa Medical Facilities, holding the position of Director of Nursing- Long Term Care for the past four years. Jami graduated from Lexington High School and then went on to receive her LPN from Central Community College in Columbus. She later went on to receive her Associate Degree of Nursing, Bachelor's Degree of Nursing and Master's Degree in Nursing Leadership.

Aside from working as the Director of Nursing- Long Term Care at Genoa Medical Facilities, Jami and her husband, Gary live in Columbus. Jami’s family consists of her parents, four children, two stepchildren, 10 grandchildren, and little dogs. When Jami isn’t at Genoa Medical Facilities, you can often find her at one of her grandchildren’s activities or doing some traveling with Gary. Jami voices feeling extremely blessed to have all of her family living close by in Nebraska.

Jami’s favorite part about being the Director of Nursing- Long Term Care is the relationships she forms with the employees, residents, and their family members. “I care for these people as if they were my own family,” said Jami. “Treating our residents and employees with kindness, respect, compassion, and love is extremely important to me. I feel blessed to spend my final years of my nursing career at a facility as wonderful as Genoa Medical Facilities.”
