This post is a note from Willie Argus Faddis Jr’s brother Terry Faddis to me. I wanted to share this with you on Facebook. And with his permission here it is:
Food of thought for my brother, our brother in arms 🇺🇸👍 ( William Argus Faddis Junior , 80 yrs old , but he didn’t look it or show it , he was still cleaning out chicken houses driving bobcat skid steers like a tank , four days before he died , 🇺🇸 he went to the Sale Barn cowboy church in Decatur Arkansas. At every gas station and store in Decatur everyone knew him! You only met a Willie Faddis ( once ) and would remember him for a lifetime
My brother, “WILLY FADDIS” - prayed over us for quite a while as a chaplain of the VFW post 9834 - he had a great heart - he loved his country and he loved people “ Vietnam vet 🇺🇸 , he actually served 13 months active physical combat in Vietnam and that was a crazy war indeed “ our brother made it home ( in america ) and now he is with Jesus and when God takes somebody home to his bosom 🙏🇺🇸 God doesn’t have to ask for permission 🇺🇸 “ the hour glass is still running ( constantly 24 seven ) and all we have is right now and yesterday is gone and tomorrow is not promised - please people don’t dwell on the past no more and live and love and laugh today - because tomorrow is not promised and our life is like a v***r , a mist for a little time and it’s vanished ( scriptural ) “ our brother was a chaplain for our post 9834 and we will miss him ❤️🙏
