Every Angel that asked for a bike, received one. THANK YOU to everyone who got their angel a bike and a special thank you to Dainel Ramirez for graciously assembling a couple of them.

A BIG thank you to Carlos Garcia, owner of Carlos Garcia Homes (2), TRISD School Board President, Lee Benham, Freer Chief of Police, Rolando Flores, and Ohio Resident, Rodney Muterspaw for stepping up last second, without hesitation, and donating 5 bikes to ensure every child that asked for a bike, received one.

The recent threat to our campuses has been successfully addressed. Our dedicated security team in collaboration with local law enforcement, acted swiftly to insure the safety and well being of students, faculty, and staff. We are pleased to report the situation has been resolved without incident, and normal business activity will resume other than the cancellation of today's pep rally.

How I arrived in George West...

Folks often ask what brought me to George West. In a word - fishing. It’s my favorite hobby. Whether it’s the lake, river or coast, I’d rather be wetting a line than just about anything else. With the Nueces River in my backyard and the salt just an hour away, a hardcore angler cannot ask for much more. And seeing how Live Oak County wasn’t currently home to a chiropractor, I saw it as an opportunity to work where I played - Dr. Pete.
