🥰 Please join us in celebrating Sunshine Bowser, our Associate of the Month! 😍
Although Sunshine has been a Med Tech at The Oscar for just nearly two months, her impact has been immediate and deeply felt by both residents and staff alike. Sunshine’s passion for her work stems from a genuine love for the elderly and a calling to help others. While her primary role is ensuring our residents receive their medications to feel their best, Sunshine is the definition of a team player. Whether she is leading an activity, assisting with personal care, or simply lending a hand wherever it’s needed, she does it all with a willing heart. For Sunshine, a great team member is someone who is always ready to go “above and beyond.” She describes the atmosphere at The Oscar as a “warm family environment,” a feeling she contributes to personally by singing for others while she works!
Her advice to those just starting their journey here is simple yet powerful: “Be patient and be someone’s strength.” Outside the community, Sunshine prioritizes her spiritual life and personal wellness. She is a regular at church events, loves listening to gospel music, and finds balance through working out and meditating. She also knows the importance of a good vacation to regroup and recharge! Thank you, Sunshine, for bringing your light (and your voice!) to our community. We are so grateful to have you on the team!
