This holiday season truly sparkled at Touchmark Georgetown. Our campus came alive as Robin & Morgan from whisked residents and guests along in charming carriage rides, while the joyful voices of the families filled the air with beloved Christmas carols. Santa stopped by to share smiles and hugs, and the sweet aroma of festive cookie decorating with brought everyone together in celebration. Moments like these—filled with laughter, tradition, and community—are what it means to live The Full Life at Touchmark Georgetown.

🎄✨ Our cozy Holiday Bazaar brought all the festive cheer this month! Fueled by warm hot cocoa and sweet cookies from our dining team, we visited vendor stalls all throughout the 1st floor of our community! Our talented cartoon artist resident, Sherian, illustrated our custom bazaar programs and made gift tags for us all! Folks were greated by the new ponies at since Santa’s reindeers were preparing for Christmas! The fun continued as guests spun the wheel and let 🎅 Santa decide who was naughty or nice—spoiler alert: plenty of nice points were earned!❤️ A special holiday shoutout to everyone who chose to shop small and support local businesses this season like 🎁 Merry Christmas Eve to all, and may your holidays be merry and bright! ✨

Congratulations to our December Associate of the Month: Ingrid Sarrat!

If you’ve ever walked through our front doors and been greeted with a warm smile, there’s a good chance it came from one of our incredible Concierge, Ingrid. As one of our longest tenured team members, Ingrid has been with The Hacienda since the day we opened. Even before that, she watched the community being built and knew it was exactly where she wanted to be, and we are so grateful that she chose us!

Ingrid goes out of her way to make every person feel welcomed, supported, and cared for. She shared that what motivates her each day is the opportunity to help others and solve problems, and she feels privileged and honored to represent The Hacienda in the work she does.

Outside of work, Ingrid treasures the simple, meaningful traditions that bring her family together. During the holidays, she and her daughters bake stollen, a traditional German Christmas bread, using a recipe passed down from her mother-in-law. It’s a cozy, meaningful ritual that fills her home with warmth and connection.

Reflecting on her time here, Ingrid shared that she feels lucky to be part of a community that is warm, supportive, and friendly. We feel just as lucky to have her.

🎄 Oh holiday cactus, oh holiday cactus… how lovely are your flowers! 🌵💐

We had an absolute blast with Megan and Collins from Root To Rise Plant Co.! They brought the festive fun right to our doorstep and showed us how to turn our little holiday cacti into the cutest, quirkiest décor on campus.

Megan led the way as we decorated, personalized, giggled, hot-glued, and basically turned cactus-crafting into a full-on holiday party. So many smiles, so many leaves, so much fun! ✨😄

Last night at The Hacienda, we had the joy of spending an evening in fellowship with the Central Texas Philharmonic.
We welcomed conductor Stefan Sanders and a talented brass trio featuring Mike Arnold on trumpet, Sarah Au on French horn, and Will Dorsey on trombone.

Between songs, we laughed and bonded over quirky Christmas traditions, Texas sports teams (thankfully, the trio were UT fans!), and their journeys into music. Not only did we sing along to beautiful tunes that stirred old memories, but we also learned more about these incredible musicians and connected as a community.
