Deadlifts can be tricky—and small form mistakes can make a big difference. 👀
Here are a few simple cues to help you lift safer and stronger:
🚫 Avoid this:
• Locking out your knees
• Cranking your neck up
• Squeezing your shoulder blades too hard
✅ Try this instead:
• Keep a soft bend in your knees
• Let your knees move slightly forward to keep your hips in a good position
• Tuck your chin and think “tall spine”
• Set your shoulders gently—no rib flare needed
Need help improving your lifts or dealing with pain? We’ve got you.

During and after labor, you may hear a lot of unfamiliar terms—and it can feel overwhelming in the moment. 🤍
In this video, Dr. Karley breaks down the 4 grades of perineal tearing so you can better understand what’s happening in your body and feel more confident in your care.

At Pillar, we believe knowledge is power. We always encourage you to ask your provider:
✨ What grade of tearing occurred (if any)?
✨ Has it been clearly documented?

You deserve to feel informed, supported, and empowered every step of the way.
