As Oliver turns one month, I want to be raw with yā€™all. First off, thank you for all the grace youā€™ve given Dr. Chris this past month with being closed for two weeks. It truly was such a blessing to our family to help ease the transition into a family of six.

As many of you know, I used to work in the office every day. I was the friendly face at the front desk, the mom of the office, the girly girl to chat with in the back, but when our first son was born, God placed a calling on my life to be home with him, and so the transition began.

When I started cutting back in the office I had many women tell me that they missed discussing their feminine issues with a woman, and didnā€™t feel comfortable discussing it with Dr. Chris. I joked and would say, ā€œHe lives with me, there is nothing he hasnā€™t heard or seen!ā€ šŸ˜‚ But I completely understood, and I hope yā€™all do too.

This is Dr. Chrisā€™ personality: caring, understanding and ultimately interested in how the human body works. When I saw the photos of our birth from the amazing , I felt like yā€™all needed to see this side of him. The caretaker side, the proud father, the supportive husband and the inquisitive person he is (see the photo of him exploring the placenta). He has journeyed with me through four pregnancies, and despite my annoyance, his sympathy pains have increased each time. šŸ¤£ Seriously, ask him about his ā€œround ligament painā€ and heartburn.

He may not have carried and birthed our boys, but I couldnā€™t have done it without himā€¦ He supported me every step of the way (literally, he held me as I stood and birthed Oliver). He keeps me well adjusted to being a mother of fourā€¦ many mornings asking if I need adjusted before he goes to work. He knows that mothersā€™ nervous systems are in a constant state of stress, but yet we set the tone of the home. Although most of you canā€™t get adjusted in the comforts of your home every week, Dr. Chris knows every mama is doing kingdom work and yā€™all receive the same level of chiropractic care that I do.
