This year has been tough on a lot of us, we understand the struggle and we are here to help! On Christmas Day we’re offering FREE to-go Christmas dinners for anyone in need of a little extra Christmas Spirit— walk up or drive through.

Thank you to everyone who has shared this post and helped us reach our neighbors in need, and a special thank you to those who have called or messaged offering to help. The response has been overwhelming in the best way, and it’s clear this event is going to be bigger than we ever imagined.

Because of that, we welcome anyone who would like to volunteer or lend a hand. There’s no need to call or sign up, just show up at 10:30 and we’ll put you to work.

With temperatures expected to dip into the upper teens tonight and Monday morning, Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church will open its Duke Street church to serve as a warming shelter beginning at 4 PM Sunday. The church is located at 1043 Duke Street.
