Plans are coming together and Marketplace finds abound!! These renditions are pretty close to what the space should look like when it is all done. The space is small but I think this will all work. The desk, while large for the space, will accommodate all my reference books, computer, and printer, and has drawer space for printed handouts for clients and other supplies. It has a corkboard back to the hutch where I can hang more birth announcements and photos/cards from my sweet clients. The bookshelf will house my lending library and knick-knacks gifted to me over the years by clients. The table by the couch is an awesome marketplace find that is a two-tier metal cart with a wooden top that I will use for lab supplies and venipuncture. When not being used for lab draws, it will double as an end table for clients. The nice big window can't be seen through from the outside but lets in plenty of natural light while the curtains are open, and it will be the new home for a gorgeous stained glass piece that was gifted to me by one of my dear clients. I am so excited to hang it--it is my logo and was handmade by her--so special!! There is also plenty of empty wall space to hang my current bulletin board full of photos, cards and birth announcements as well as many other wall hangings and decorations gifted to me over the years.
