This week is National Volunteer Week,
and we take this moment to celebrate the incredible men and women who give their time to protect their communities — the people who live in them and those just passing through.

Volunteer firefighters are truly selfless individuals. They often miss family holidays, birthdays, and special moments to serve others in times of need. Their dedication doesn’t go unnoticed.

To every volunteer firefighter — whether you’re part of our department or serving elsewhere — thank you. We see you, we appreciate you, and we are grateful for all that you do.

You make a difference every single day.

Did you know nearly 70% of fire departments across the country are volunteer-based? These dedicated men and women serve their communities selflessly but recruiting and retaining volunteers is becoming increasingly challenging.

Now is the time to step up. Reach out to your local fire department to learn how you can serve, support, and help make your community safer.
