Be prepared for tomorrow. Stay safe everyone.
A lot is coming at us over the next 24-hours. We'll see wind increase from the SW tonight with scattered showers developing ahead of the cold front.
Thursday AM winds will be howling up to 50MPH as the cold front moves in. Along this front we'll see some heavier showers and a couple rumbles of thunder. Gusts may be enhanced along this front with a few gusts up to 55MPH possible.
This front will move in dropping temps 10 degrees INSTANTLY between 10A and 3P(west to east). Wind chills will plummet by 20 degrees fast.
In addition to temps falling, winds will turn to the northwest instead of the southwest. This will usher in colder air.
Between 3PM and 9PM we'll see temps fall below freezing, with an arctic front moving in after 6PM. This may freeze excess moisture out there. Main concern is sidewalks, parking lots, secondary roads and bridges/overpasses. This will lea to black ice concerns into Friday AM.
On top of ALL of that, a few snow showers will race in Thursday evening across the northern half. These snow showers won't produce much accumulation but given high winds we may see a brief drop in visibilities.
Overall tomorrow will start warm, wet and windy; then end cold, windy and frozen.
