We are SO excited to introduce our newest executive functioning coach…Heather!!!!
Heather Weir is an experienced educator with over 13 years of teaching mathematics and developing individualized education programs (IEPs) at a local regional educational collaborative. She is passionate about helping students with diverse learning needs reach their full potential, and specializes in supporting students with executive functioning challenges. Heather combines her classroom expertise with a deep understanding of how executive functioning impacts learning, empowering students to build confidence, independence, and lifelong skills for success. In her free time, she can usually be found on the sidelines enthusiastically cheering on her sons, getting in a good workout, or spending time outdoors with her family and their dogs.

We can’t believe we are already halfway through our summer groups!! Between therapy dogs, sweet treats, and dance parties - we are having a blast ☀️ Some of our groups have even been practicing various social skills in the community in order to build functional social skills and connections. By taking groups out to the natural environment, we give them the opportunity to generalize these skills and practice some “unstructured” social time. Would you like to see more of these “outings” groups this fall?! Comment below 🍂
