All of our proceeds go towards medical scholarships for Scott County & Non-Scott residents & hospital employees & families.

Volunteers are needed at the Georgetown Community Hospital Auxiliary.

We need people who can commit to at least one day per week. If you are retired & wanting to get out of the house & around people. We could use your smiling face!

● We have Volunteers manning the front desk. They help people sign in on the computer for registration; direct people to Doctors offices & answer general questions from patients.

● We also have Volunteers working in the Surgery waiting room. They work hand in hand with the surgery staff & keep the patients family informed of their progress.

● We have the Auxiliary Gift Shop that all proceeds go towards Medical Scholarships. Retail experience is helpful. We do have some requirements for the gift shop, which will be at the managers discretion.

It is very rewarding to volunteer your time at the hospital. You never know what people are facing when they walk through the hospital doors. Sometimes just a smile & kind word from a volunteer can make a big difference.

You can fill out this form on the hospital website to be contacted. Or you can pickup an application at the front desk or in the gift shop at the hospital.
The hospital requires a background check & a drug test for each volunteer.

You will be provided a free lunch from the cafeteria at the hospital during your shift.
