🦃 Turkey Toss Triumph! 🦃
Our annual beanbag-style Turkey Toss was full of laughs today and it turns out saying “gobble gobble!” before tossing the stuffed turkey might just be the secret to success!
Vivian gave her turkey a cheerful gobble and it must’ve brought extra luck, because she landed the winning throw. Congratulations, Vivian!
Fun was had by all, and we’re already excited for next year’s toss.

We were honored to host and celebrate Dr. Marianne Inman’s 30th anniversary of her presidency at Central Methodist University in Missouri!
Dr. Inman—who began her tenure in 1995 and played a pivotal role in transforming CMU—joined us at The Wesleyan for a special celebration featuring a wonderful performance by the CMU Chorale, followed by a cake-and-punch reception filled with memories, laughter, and gratitude.
Fun was had by all, and we’re grateful to have welcoming spaces at The Wesleyan where residents can gather for events like this. Here’s to Dr. Inman, her incredible impact, and the CMU family that continues to shine!💚

Today, our Wesleyan Board Members and Resident Council came together for a special end-of-year luncheon — a wonderful moment to reflect, connect, and celebrate all that has been accomplished this year.
We are so deeply grateful for our Board and our Resident Council. Their dedication, leadership, and heart for service continue to strengthen our mission and enrich the lives of everyone in our community.
For more than six decades, The Wesleyan has remained a purpose-driven, faith-led, and community-centered senior living organization — and gatherings like this remind us why we do what we do. 💙

Thank you to everyone who serves, leads, and supports our Wesleyan family.

Last night, many came together for our annual Service of Death and Resurrection, a beautiful and heartfelt ceremony honoring the lives of members of The Wesleyan community.

It was a truly lovely service, filled with meaningful music, thoughtful reflections, and messages of hope shared by residents, staff, leadership, and friends of our community. We are deeply grateful to all who participated — from our speakers and musicians to those who helped plan, prepare, and support this special gathering.

This is a tradition we hold every year at The Wesleyan, and while it is never easy, we know how important it is to pause, remember, and honor the lives of those who have been part of our Wesleyan family. A life remembered is a life cherished, and we are proud to offer this service as a way to reflect, give thanks, and celebrate each person’s lasting impact.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in remembrance.

The Wesleyan Bazaar: A Huge Success!

We had such a wonderful time at our Wesleyan Bazaar — filled with laughter, creativity, and community spirit! Months of preparation and organization — all led by our amazing residents — came together in one massive project and true labor of love. 💛

From handcrafted quilts, jewelry, paintings, woodworking, and delicious homemade treats, every item was lovingly created and donated by our residents to support the Wesleyan Benevolent Fund. ❤️

We’re thrilled to share that our residents raised over $8,300 — every dollar of which will go directly to the Benevolent Fund to help care for and support fellow residents in meaningful ways. This is truly residents helping residents — and that’s what the Wesleyan spirit is all about!

✨ Continue your purpose and your passion with us at The Wesleyan.

A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who joined in the fun and gave so generously. Your support makes a lasting impact!

This Veterans Day, The Wesleyan communities came together to honor and remember the brave men and women who have served our country. 🇺🇸
From assisted living to independent living, we gathered to recognize our residents and teammates who are veterans — and to remember all the lives lost in service to our nation.
We are deeply grateful for their courage, sacrifice, and example. Each day, we strive to live in a way that is worthy of their service and the freedoms they have protected.
The Wesleyan is proud to call so many veterans part of our family. 💙
Thank You for your service.

Honoring Our Heroes! 🇺🇸
This Monday, residents from The Wesleyan Community took to the skies with Dream Flights experiencing the adventure of a lifetime in a historic Boeing Stearman biplane!
Dream Flights is dedicated to honoring our nation’s veterans and seniors by giving them a chance to soar once again — and to share their incredible stories of courage, resilience, and service. These unforgettable moments remind us of our shared humanity and the power of listening to those who came before us. ❤️
We are so proud of our residents and forever grateful to our veterans.
Thank you for your service. 🇺🇸

Our Wesleyan residents & team had a blast supporting the Zion Lutheran Church and School during their 53rd annual Wurstbraten fundraiser in Walburg, Texas! Our transportation team picked up and delivered this delicious meal for our residents to enjoy.
A huge thank-you to everyone who works so hard each year to make this event possible — the food was absolutely amazing! We’re also proud to share that our Wesleyan community helped raise close to $900 in support of Zion Lutheran Church & School and other local nonprofits.
It’s such a joy to be part of a caring community that supports great local traditions like this one.

Our Story

The Wesleyan’s ministry began as a community vision to care for the aging in 1962. The Wesleyan began as a community collaboration of The Methodist Church, The Williamson County Sun, the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and the citizens of Georgetown to be the first in the city to provide for the aging. That vision came to fruition on September 10, 1962 when the first resident moved into what was then The Wesleyan Retirement Home.Since then, The Wesleyan has grown with Georgetown and the region, leading the way in aging and health services, providing a full continuum of care, promoting a vibrant philosophy of well-being, and championing a new bountiful experience of aging full of purpose, passion, and possibility.True to it’s roots, The Wesleyan still pursues a vision nourished by deep relationships — relationships among those it serves and its teammates, and relationships with the people of Georgetown and Central Texas.
