There’s always something happening at The Wesleyan and our Community Fair was the perfect way to showcase it! Residents explored booths featuring many of our wonderful groups and activities, including Art Club, Women of Wesleyan, Retired Nurses, Life Enrichment, Spiritual Wellness, Woodshop, Knitting, Theater, Bingo, Old-Time Radio Hour, transportation services, support groups, on-site hair salon and so many more.

The event had a fun carnival-style atmosphere, complete with delicious goodies from our dining team and plenty of opportunities to learn about new activities, meet neighbors, and get involved.

At The Wesleyan, community is at the heart of everything we do. Whether discovering a new hobby, joining a group, or simply connecting with friends, there are countless ways to stay engaged and enjoy life.

Because here at The Wesleyan, life doesn’t slow down.❤️

Our residents had a “spud-tacular” afternoon getting warmed up for St. Patrick’s Day! The fun kicked off with Irish coffee and festive snacks, and then it was time for the main event the Potato Bowling Tournament.

When you bowl with spuds, anything can happen… and the ultimate prize is the coveted Golden Mr. Potato Head Trophy! 🏆🥔

This year’s big winner was Pat, who finally claimed the golden trophy a goal she’s had on her list since the day she moved in! Her victory made the celebration even sweeter and had everyone cheering.

With laughter, friendly competition, and lots of Irish spirit, it was a memorable afternoon for all. Congratulations, Pat! 🍀🥔🏆

Spring has arrived in Texas, and our campus is beginning to show off one of the state’s most beautiful traditions bluebonnets, the official state flower of Texas.

Residents and visitors love seeing the wildflowers bloom along our walking trail this time of year. It’s the perfect reminder of the beauty that surrounds our community and a wonderful reason to get outside, take a stroll, and enjoy the season.

There’s just something special about bluebonnet season in Texas and we’re lucky to enjoy it right here at The Wesleyan.

This week we had the honor of celebrating Bethany Sisneroz, President and CEO of The Wesleyan, as a nominee for the Women of Wilco Business Awards 2026 held at the Sheraton Georgetown in recognition of outstanding women leaders across Williamson County.

Bethany’s leadership, heart for service, and deep commitment to older adults, families, and team members continue to shape the culture and mission of The Wesleyan every day. With more than 20 years of experience in long-term care and a passion for strengthening the lives of those she serves, Bethany exemplifies what leadership with purpose looks like.

While she may not have taken home the award this year, we are incredibly proud to see her recognized among such inspiring women in our community. Bethany, thank you for the vision, compassion, and dedication you bring to The Wesleyan.

Please join us in congratulating Bethany on this well-deserved nomination!

At The Wesleyan, we know that our incredible team is what makes our community so special. During our Annual Teammate Appreciation Day, our senior staff members had the joy of serving our team and hosting fun giveaway tables as a small way to say thank you for everything they do.

The celebration included a delicious fish fry, a froyo popsicle cart, and plenty of fun surprises and giveaways along the way. It was a festive day filled with laughter, appreciation, and time together as a team.

There truly is no way to fully say thank you for the dedication, compassion, and excellent care our teammates give to our residents every day but we love taking time to celebrate them.

Because at The Wesleyan, Our Purpose is Your Home and our team is what makes that purpose come to life. ❤️

The men and women of our Maintenance Team truly help keep The Wesleyan running smoothly every single day. From responding quickly to residents’ needs to caring for our buildings and grounds, their hard work and attention to detail make a lasting difference in our community.

To show our appreciation, we recently hosted a Maintenance Appreciation Luncheon to thank this incredible team for everything they do behind the scenes to support our residents and keep our community comfortable and safe.

Please join us in recognizing and thanking this dedicated group whose daily efforts help make The Wesleyan feel like home. 💙

HAPPY TEXAS INDEPENDENCE DAY YA’LL.

Everything’s bigger, and more fun in Texas!

Our residents celebrated Texas Independence Day in true Lone Star style, beginning with a delicious lunch of Texas barbecue brisket and chicken before heading straight to an afternoon filled with live music, laughter, and festive fun. The Sterling Country Band kept the energy high with classic Texas favorites, while residents enjoyed games including the chance to shoot a cannon (don’t worry, it was a Nerf cannon! 💥.)

From great food and lively music to unforgettable moments shared together, the day was full of Texas pride and community spirit. At The Wesleyan, celebrations like these remind us that home is where memories are made.

Our Story

The Wesleyan’s ministry began as a community vision to care for the aging in 1962. The Wesleyan began as a community collaboration of The Methodist Church, The Williamson County Sun, the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and the citizens of Georgetown to be the first in the city to provide for the aging. That vision came to fruition on September 10, 1962 when the first resident moved into what was then The Wesleyan Retirement Home.Since then, The Wesleyan has grown with Georgetown and the region, leading the way in aging and health services, providing a full continuum of care, promoting a vibrant philosophy of well-being, and championing a new bountiful experience of aging full of purpose, passion, and possibility.True to it’s roots, The Wesleyan still pursues a vision nourished by deep relationships — relationships among those it serves and its teammates, and relationships with the people of Georgetown and Central Texas.
