We are seeking a contractor for snow and ice removal at our headquarters, including:
🚑 Front bay apron
🚗 Front parking lot
🚙 Rear parking lot

Service needed for:
• 3+ inches of snow
• Any accumulating ice
• Ice melt application to all icy surfaces

🎇🎆💥🧨Gerald Fireworks Information🧨💥🎆🎇

Where: Gerald City Park - 598 Bittersweet
When: Saturday, June 21, 2025 @ 9:30PM

The Lions Club of Gerald MO is thrilled to be hosting the 2025 Fireworks Celebration. 😃 MANY hours went into bringing this show back to the community. Please be kind, courteous & most of all PATIENT. We hope everyone has a wonderful time & enjoys the show we were able to put together for the community with the generous donations of our local businesses, churches, organizations & citizens. THANK YOU ALL!

Upon entering the park, please follow the main drive & watch for Lions members directing traffic. The left hand side of the lake will be closed off for the fireworks display. Please follow the parking attendants directions & proceed around the back side of the lake to park as parking will start on the back side of the lake & make its way back towards the entrance of the park. Handicap parking will be made available in the lots above the ball diamonds & in front of the old restrooms & the parking lot next to the concessions stand. Please make sure you leave the roadway COMPLETELY OPEN, so emergency vehicles have full access to get up & down the roadway. Exiting the park will be in the same manner via the main roadway. We will attempt to clean the fireworks up as quickly as possible to reopen the left hand side of the lake, but that will take a little bit of time. Please use caution & patience when exiting the park.

Seating is encouraged in both ball diamond outfields, on the hill on the backside of the lake or near the playground equipment/tennis courts. If the area is marked off with caution tape, please DO NOT sit in the caution tape area. You will be asked to relocate if you are in this area. This is for safety of all patrons viewing the show. 💥Please bring lawn chairs or blankets💥

Light & limited concessions will be available. We will have the following on the menu:
Hotdogs $1
Chips $1
Red, white & blue popsicles $1
Ice cream sandwiches $1
Ice cream drum sticks $1
Fudge bars $1
Bottled water $1
Patriotic glow sticks $1

Concessions will be driven by a side by side clearly marked with the Lions Club logo.

A Lions member will be at the entrance of the park with a donation bucket. If you feel so inclined to donate on your way in or out of the park, please drop donations in the bucket. All donations will be used to start funding the 2026 fireworks celebration show! 🎉

Concerning the roadwork along US Highway 50 in both Rosebud and Gerald, please leave intersections and driveways open so that first responders have access to these in case of emergency.

At last night board meeting the board awarded the 2025 grass cutting to BCR Lawn Care. We look forward to working with you. We would also like to thank everyone that submitted bids for this year’s grass cutting.
