📣📣 ATTENTION JACKSON COUNTY RESIDENTS!! 📣📣

The Jackson County Council on Aging is looking forward to welcoming the community to its annual Senior Expo is set for Thursday, Jan 22, at the Scottsboro Goose Pond Civic Center, 876 Ed Hembree Drive.

There’s no cost to attend the SENIOR EXPO which will be held 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Chad Coleman, director of the Council on Aging, said this event will give the citizens of Scottsboro and all of Jackson County the opportunity to learn more about the agencies, groups, and resources that enhance the lives of people 50 and over. Last year, more than 600 people attended.

He said there will be a lot of service providers to share information about their offerings, entertainment, food, and door prizes — with a grand door prize of $500 up for grabs.

For more information about the event, or to volunteer, contact the Jackson County Council on Aging at 256-574-6733. The deadline for vendors is Thursday, Jan. 15.
