At the Fibroid Center of Horizon Vascular Specialists, we're proud to offer a minimally invasive alternative that promises a swift recovery: UFE (Uterine Fibroid Embolization)

Worried about the prospect of a hysterectomy? UFE could be the answer you've been searching for! This cutting-edge, minimally invasive procedure allows us to treat fibroids without the need for major surgery, ensuring a faster return to your everyday life.

Minimally Invasive UFE: Uterine Fibroid Embolization is a game-changer. During this procedure, a tiny catheter is used to deliver embolic agents to the blood vessels that feed the fibroids. By cutting off their blood supply, the fibroids shrink, providing relief from symptoms without invasive surgery.

🕒 Fast Recovery: What makes UFE truly remarkable is the recovery time. Unlike a hysterectomy, which can involve an extended recovery period, UFE allows you to bounce back quickly. Many patients return to their regular activities within a week.

At the Fibroid Center of Horizon Vascular Specialists, we're dedicated to providing you with the best options for your fibroid treatment. No need to fear a major surgery – UFE is a safe, effective, and minimally invasive way to regain control over your health and well-being.

Are you or someone you know experiencing pelvic pain? The Fibroid Center of Horizon Vascular Specialists is here to shed some light on how a consultation with us can make a world of difference in understanding your symptoms!

Pelvic pain can be incredibly discomforting and disruptive to your daily life. It can stem from various causes, one of them being fibroids and adenomyosis. But how can an MRI consultation help you in your diagnosis journey?

✨ Symptoms: Pelvic pain is just one of the many symptoms that might point towards fibroids and adenomyosis. Other signs can include heavy menstrual bleeding, pain during in*******se, and even fertility issues. If you've been experiencing these, it's time to seek answers.

📷 MRI Imaging: An MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) scan is a non-invasive and highly effective diagnostic tool. It allows us to get a detailed look at your pelvic region without any discomfort. During an MRI, you'll lie inside a machine that uses powerful magnets and radio waves to create images of your internal organs.

🔎 What an MRI Can Show: An MRI can provide a clear picture of your pelvic area, helping us identify the presence and location of fibroids, adenomyosis, and other potential issues. It's like a window into your body, giving us the information we need to tailor a treatment plan specifically for you.

At The Fibroid Center of Horizon Vascular Specialists, we understand the challenges you're facing, and we're here to help. Don't let pelvic pain go unexplored – schedule a consultation with us today and take the first step toward relief and understanding. Your well-being is our priority!

These are MRI images (Left pre-UFE, Right post-UFE) of one of our patients who underwent uterine fibroid embolization (UFE). UFE is a safe minimally invasive same day procedure with quick recovery times. We typically get an MRI 6 months after your treatment to see how the fibroid(s) has responded to treatment.

This patient had many fibroids that has been destroyed by UFE when comparing the two MRI images. She has had great improvement in her heavy menstrual bleeding and cramping. Surgery such as hysterectomy is not the only option for treatment of uterine fibroids.
