Governor Aruna Miller, Maryland Attorney General Attorney General Anthony G. Brown Anthony G. Brown and the Legislative Black Caucus of Maryland Legislative Black Caucus of Maryland, Inc. conduct an immediate investigation into the theft and illegal/fraudulent sale of a black woman’s company Sugarloaf, and medical cannabis dispensary license with the complicity and complacency of the Maryland Cannabis Administration Maryland Cannabis Administration; an investigation that former Governor Governor Larry Hogan and Lt. Gov Boyd K Rutherford failed to address and follow up with as promised in their 2021 letter and emails; and investigate the illegal actions being conducted right now by illegal use of §8-402 tenant holding over, mortgage fraud, and setting a $30K appeal bond in the District Court of Maryland for Montgomery County, Rockville to illegally evict her from the investment property she lives in that is directly tied to Sugarloaf and the dispensary license after timely paid the mortgage loan for over 7.5 years. She has also been solicited, threatened, and blackmailed by principals at Offit | Kurman. demanding she commit perjury and obstruction to any investigation by judicial forums and the Maryland Cannabis Administration. She is a black woman who immigrated to the US as a child from extreme poverty, became a citizen, and overcame tremendous adversities to provide a better life for herself and her children. She raised 5 children as a single mother while working 2 jobs and attending college and when Maryland legalized medical cannabis in 2014, worked HARD to compete and win a Maryland cannabis dispensary license. Her family’s company and license were stolen by investors and sold in January 2020 for millions of dollars to cannabis companies Green Leaf Medical, LLC - Maryland and Columbia Care during ongoing litigation, after former Maryland Cannabis Administration Executive Director Joy Strand quit her government job October 2019 and became Executive Vice President of gLeaf on January 01, 2020. They are operating a dispensary under Sugarloaf’s business entity and license as “gLeaf Rockville,” profiting 100% in the tens of millions of dollars since March 2020 off her blood, sweat, and tears. Please donate and share this GoFundMe https://bit.ly/3OrH0ZF to help with legal and other expenses to fight for her family’s business and license and to stop the fraudulent eviction attempt. Thank you!
