Children learn through modeling. 💯

Yelling and hitting do not teach children ANYTHING besides yelling and hitting. In fact, it worsens behavior and lowers self-esteem.

When we share our calm and emotional intelligence skills, we are teaching kids through observation and experience and giving them one of the greatest gifts we can give them - our own emotional regulation.
