Celebrating Service, Family, and the Heart of AMP 🇺🇸

This weekend, the Larkins — a proud veteran family and dedicated AMP volunteers — attended the Marine Corps Ball commemorating 250 years of service and sacrifice.

Retired Sergeant Major David Larkin served as the Master of Ceremonies, joined by his wife Donna, their son Tor, retired Marine, and Duke, retired Air Force. Their family’s ongoing commitment to service—both to our country and within the adaptive sports community—continues to inspire everyone at AMP.

It is an honor and privilege to work alongside them as they help bring confidence, joy, and new hope to the athletes we serve.

We also want to recognize AMP Board Member Karen Atkinson, retired Army veteran, for her continued service and her compassionate leadership within our organization.

To all veterans: thank you for protecting the freedoms we cherish so deeply.

First dusting? Check.
Snow-guns firing? Check.
Fresh tracks? Oh yes.
And in true fashion, Kramer has already claimed first tracks of the season—no surprise there.

Winter is waking up, and we’re buzzing to kick off the Alpine Ski & Ride season with our AMP athletes and volunteers. Let the cold noses, big smiles, and unforgettable runs begin!

Huge shout-out to our community partners and donors—you help keep our skis waxed, our equipment sliding, and our mission moving. Thanks for giving AMP the power to turn snow days into joy days.
