โ€‹There is nothing quite like the sound of bluegrass gospel to lift the spirit. We spent a beautiful afternoon at Transitions Healthcare Gettysburg with ๐‰๐š๐œ๐จ๐›'๐ฌ ๐‚๐ก๐ฎ๐ซ๐œ๐ก lifting our voices together to some of our favorite classic hymns.

The toes were tapping, the spirits were high and the room was filled with a truly special kind of peace and fellowship. It was the perfect way to welcome the season together through song and tradition.

The balcony was officially open this week at Transitions Healthcare Gettysburg! We were "visited" by two very familiar, very grumpy faces for a special performance of ๐’๐ญ๐š๐ญ๐ฅ๐ž๐ซ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐–๐š๐ฅ๐๐จ๐ซ๐Ÿโ€™๐ฌ ๐๐š๐ฅ๐œ๐จ๐ง๐ฒ ๐๐š๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ซ! ๐Ÿ‘ด๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’ฌ๐Ÿ‘ด

โ€‹The room was filled with "Ho Ho Ho-ing" as this cantankerous duo traded quips about everything from the speed of their walkers to the length of their afternoon naps. Our residents proved they can give as good as they get, heckling the hecklers and keeping the laughter going from start to finish.

โ€‹It was a wonderful afternoon of comedy and connection. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us to see if the jokes were actually as old as the "guys" telling them! ๐ŸŽค๐ŸŽฌ

โ€‹We had some very "well-educated" visitors in our Front Recreation Room today!
A huge thank you to the ๐‚๐ก๐š๐ฆ๐›๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐›๐ฎ๐ซ๐  ๐€๐ซ๐ž๐š ๐Š๐ž๐ง๐ง๐ž๐ฅ ๐‚๐ฅ๐ฎ๐› for bringing their wonderful members and four-legged friends by for ๐†๐จ๐จ๐ ๐‹๐ฎ๐œ๐ค ๐๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ฌ. While Rowlf might be the Muppet world's favorite piano player, these talented dogs were the real stars of the show. We had a blast revisiting the original ๐™ผ๐šž๐š™๐š™๐šŽ๐š ๐š‚๐š‘๐š˜๐š  with our very own ๐๐ž๐š๐ค๐ž๐ซ ๐’๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐‚๐ก๐ž๐ž๐ฌ๐ž ๐’๐ง๐š๐œ๐ค๐ฌ. ๐Ÿง€ It took a little "science" (and a lot of orange food coloring) to get that iconic hair just right! ๐Ÿงก

โ€‹Who knew string cheese could have so much personality? ๐Ÿงฌโœจ

Our residents had a "๐Œ๐ž๐ž-๐ฆ๐ž๐ž-๐ฆ๐ž๐ž๐ฉ" approved afternoon with our favorite lab assistant. We just hope the ๐—ฆ๐˜„๐—ฒ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐˜€๐—ต ๐—–๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ณ doesnโ€™t find out weโ€™ve been playing with our food! ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿณ๐Ÿคญ
