Prayer Warriors — I need you.
When I first started coaching, one of the strongest confirmations the Lord gave me was that within three years, there would be a book.
Our third birthday is March 15th (we’re celebrating on March 14th with a book signing), and that book is Battlefield for Health.
Of all places, I met my editor at the gym. I simply started a conversation about goals, and discovered he is a full-time author. What started as a casual conversation turned into a divine appointment. He actually asked to be my editor. Since August, we’ve worked closely together, and we finished the manuscript at the end of January.
Here’s where I need prayer.
Normally, when a book is uploaded, you receive your proof copy within about three days.
I have yet to receive mine.
I’ve spent hours on the phone with Amazon trying to resolve the issue and have gotten the runaround. My editor — who has been doing this for years — has stated how incredibly unusual this delay is. (I’ll be attaching his statement below.)
I do not say this lightly: I firmly believe this message is under spiritual resistance.
We have scheduled the book signing.
We have opened presales.
We have done our part in obedience.
Now I am asking you to pray.
Please pray:
• That every technical issue is resolved immediately
• That there are no further delays
• That the enemy has no foothold in this process
• That Battlefield for Health goes forth exactly as God intended
• And that this book brings nothing but glory to Him
If this truly is a battlefield, then we fight from victory.
Thank you for standing with me.
Love and Blessings,
Coach Cathleen

Statement from My editor:
Cathleen's book presented me with experiences I have not encountered in more than 25 of publishing and editing.
The first issue came with the editing. The Word document I received back from Cathleen with her edits and response to questions used the tracking feature, which is not unusual, but it also showed seemingly random lines and sentences duplicated. I have no idea why this would have happened. I have never had it happen before. Ever. I started by trying to delete the duplicates, but when I started to do it, it simultaneously deleted the original. I had to delete both versions and then retype the line. After a few times of doing this, I thought there had to be a better way to fix it. I checked the code, and when I started deleting the duplicate while the Show Code button was on, the entire duplicated section disappeared. I still don't know how it happened. I'm just happy I found a relatively easy fix.
The other issue came when Cathleen ordered her proof copy. Every time I've ordered a proof, it usually arrives in a day or two. She ordered her proof, and it was going to be at least twice that. OK. That was unusual, but then she got notices of delays due to supply line issues. I have never seen this happen before. Not only that, but she kept getting the notices, stretching out the time before her proof would ship. We finally had to cancel the proof order and reorder it. It still has a long ship time. We'll see if she gets it.
By contrast, I submitted my own proof order for my newest book. I placed the order on the 9th, and it was delivered on the 12th. Three days. A typical time. So, I ordered my proof days after Cathleen ordered hers and got mine days before she is supposed to get hers.
